It’s been a few years now of attending county fairs, contemplating what things might be like if we had fresh, locally grown food available year-round, and dreaming about starting a farm. The dreaming and planning has come together and here we are. Hello World!
Gather It Up Farm is a new, small, family-owned farm located in the beautiful lakeside, Adirondack community of Schroon Lake. We’ve started small and hope to grow as we go. Currently we specialize in growing microgreens. Microgreens are young, edible plants grown about to about 7-14 days old. These young microgreens are flavorful and full of nutrients. In addition, our microgreens are grown indoors in a controlled environment allowing us to grown year-round even when the temperatures outside drop well below zero.
